During his studies, Chris dedicated his B.Tech Thesis to investigating the root cause of solid waste pollution on Hout Bay beach. He spearheaded beach clean-ups to gather valuable data for waste analysis, with the ultimate goal of implementing source reduction as an effective waste management solution in areas where waste generation is high. Beyond his academic pursuits, Chris actively contributed to a local non-profit organisation in Hout Bay, which focuses on addressing sustainability issues in under-resourced communities. This involvement has equipped him with hands-on experience in environmental auditing, sustainability assessments, environmental education, and organizational communication. With a profound passion for writing, particularly in the realms of environmental and sustainability subjects, Chris brings a unique perspective to his work. He has successfully collaborated with a wide range of clients from both the public and private sectors, helping them measure and effectively manage their valuable reputations.
